"more" was the original command

After a while, people came up with a 'better' version, and
called it 'less'...

After another while, some more people came up with another version
and called it 'most'.

'most' has died off, and I've only seen it recently on VMS... 

when we did have 'less', 'more' and 'most' my statement held true.

less is more (than more) but neither has as much features as 'most'

Hand's up all those who've seen 'most' installed on a machine, and
used it ?

I used prefer most to more and less, and I prefer more to less, 
but tend to use less more than I use more because more than 
likely your distro will have less installed rather than more.[1]
