As Liam said 2*ram swap is no longer a requirement, however it
came with 256MB RAM and so had (if I remember correctly):

0.5G swap
20MB boot
0.5G suspend to disk
18G  the rest

It came with RH7.2, ext3 and their own rolled 2.4.13
They seem very clueful.

As for dampning vibrations on the train, fabric seems like
a workable solution?
