Hi !

Now I've found that reading the /proc/pci gives me this: (partial)
Bus 0, device 12, function 0:
Ethernet controller: Intel 82557 (rev 8).
medium devsel. Fast back-to-back capable. IRQ 19. Master capable.
  I/O at 0xfc40 [0xfc41].

Bus 0, device 16, function 0:
Ethernet controller: Intel 82557 (rev 2).
medium devsel. Fast back-to-back capable. IRQ 19. Master capable.
  I/O at 0xfce0 [0xfce1].

So, they use another io ports but the same IRQ. Maybe this is the problem
? I can use the append at boot time to pass arguments to the kernel but
I'm not sure everything will be right, because PCI devices should
configure themselves automagically and I don't want to disturb them.
Bye,
Ago
