Go for it, To quote my three year old "I'll kick your asses" :)) - or at
least I shall die trying...

Unreal Tournament + Quake3 + Heroes3... (thats all I own) - unless someone
out there know how to get DeuxEX going under linux. (I haven't tried yet -
or even looked)

I have Half-life + Opposing force but have never tried in Linux

I am dying to play Heroes3 online, but the windows version is not compatible
with linux due to M$ directplay API... and its unstable in windows anyway (I
own both)
Actually, my wife is a certified Jedi Master in Heroes so beware... I rarely
win when we play on the home lan.

Regards
CW

Are there many gamers here ?

I'm thinking of setting up a game server (just stuff that I play, to
start with), to get people playing games together.

Would people be interested ? I'm thinking to start with, maybe Unreal
Tournament and bzflag. What other game servers are there that run on
Linux, and how much space do they need ? (I don't even know if bzflag
servers can be run over an ssh link to a machine with no X).

If there is interest, I'm sure I could get Colm to point such an
auspcious DNS entry to the machine :)
