It's classic DJB, but I agree with him. AXFR blows. ISC know this. They
tagged on the NOTIFY protocol to make it somewhat better. It still
sucked so they tried IXFR. Rumour has it the IXFR implementation in
8.2.3 might actually work.

While I'm at it, the BIND master file format blows aswell. BIND as a
recursive resolver blows. Use dnscache.
