Or as a last resort you could use a fairly forceful method... straighten out
a paperclip and stick it into the small hole at the front of the CD drive.
This should make the tray slide out.

Does the continuation of installation depend on the install program ejecting
the CD or will it continue whenever the correct CD is in the drive?
