[ILUG] [OT at this stage] URGENT HELP REQUIRED - can't boot into dos after RedHat7installation

The boot partition for dos has to be in the first section of your hard
drive ie. /dev/hda1. You said your boot is on /dev/hdc2 - I'm presuming
that this is your linux boot partition.

In linux type fdisk /dev/hda and check to see that the * is beside
/dev/hda1 (hit p and it'll show the partition table). If it's not then you
have a wrong boot partition for doze. Hit a to set a bootable flag and set
it to hda1.
