[ILUG] xinerama and Helix/sawfish

Hi,

I have Helix Gnome installed and working on my machine at home,
which has a GeForce II and a Millennium II installed on it, and
I'd like to get it working with both cards at the same time
using the xinerama extension to XFree 4.0

I have XF 86 4.0.2 installed, configured, and working fine, with
Helix also working. However, although both screens are started
correctly, and the mouse roams correctly between the two live
screens, the Sawfish window manager is only picking up one of
the screens and leaving the other one the default stippled gray
of an unused X server.

The only information I can find either says that it works fine,
or that you need to recompile Sawfish on a machine with the XF
4.0 files installed, and that it will then pick up the xinerama
extensions correctly and use all available screens.

This ain't happening...

So, if anyone out there can tell me exactly what steps and what
configuration are necessary for this to work, I'd be a happy bunny.
