Thanks lads. Managed to get it running again. For some reason, there
was just a couple of mails at the start of the queue that were
clogging it up.
./exim -q sorted me out short term and gave me time to do a bit more
digging on exim.org and managed to find reference "./exim -qff" which
will thaw all messages and force a resend as well.
Now to read the 137 jokes I've got since yesterday..............

That will do it.
Note that most common arguments to sendmail are exactly the same for
exim
and have a similar effect.
