I'd consider this a fault of the Linux browser and not the website.

Well, if an OS isn't written on the box then it is assumed that the hardware 
probably isn't compatible with that OS. If by chance it does, you are using it 
for something for which it wasn't intended and the manufacturer has no 
responsibility whatsoever if anything goes wrong. You can't complain to the 
maker of your car for the problems you get when you fill it with diesel 
instead of petrol.
