If people are using M$ Outlook in your office, the Exchange server is most
likely running IMAP.

Lazy!

I use "Telsa's Over-long muttrc" available from http://www.mutt.org under
the "sample muttrcs" link. I've modified it to include colour indexing
and to include imap mailboxes from the server at work. The lines relevant
to IMAP are as follows:

mailboxes {EXCHANGE-SERVER}INBOX {EXCHANGE-SERVER}INBOX/Lists/ILUG
imap_user="Conor Daly"

That's it! mutt will ask for a password when you try to open an imap
mailbox for the first time and after that, you're in. mutt will also
check for new mail in imap mailboxes and tell you.
