a few nis questions if anyone can help:

first, is it possible to configure useradd to use /var/yp/ypfiles/passwd
as the home of the user accounts, or must i modify the source to useradd?

second, nis in heterogeneous environments.  how do solaris and tru64
work with a linux nis master?  in particular, what about passwd maps -
should i reset the linux server to use des encryption?
