Once you get over your pathological need to read *ever* message on the
list, you will find that you are able to simply skip over whole
threads witrh nary a thought.
Of course, you could get a mail program that allows you to mark
uninteresting threads so that they are not presented for your
attention, but I guess that would mean you'd have nothing to whinge
about.

This is a one-time offer to Ferren MacIntyre:
I undertake to send you ten (10) punts via An Post in the form
of a postal order made out to you, Ferren MacIntyre, if you
contact me off-list within twenty-four (24) hours of the date
borne by this message. The postal order will be posted within
seven (7) days of the date of receipt of the off-list response
to this offer.
I am not joking.
