[ILUG] short question

hi all,

whilst reading John P. Looney's (and the follow-ups) mail 
about text editors, can I assume that Pico is packaged with 
Pine??

if so, can I uninstall the vim and vim-common rpm packages?  
(I am trying to minimize the install for an older machine).
I'm not really a great fan of vim or emacs, basically they're too 
complicated looking and Pico seems to suit me fine at the moment...
