Hmm, must check that out tonight.  I don't recall sg being part of my module
list, but then I wasn't particularly looking for it.  All I know is that mine
works now, after spending about a week trying to get it going.  
You're probably right though as I don't know much about this beyond the
previously mentioned faq.

Gerard, one other thing, does cdrecord support your CD writer?
