One thing I would say though is that there is already a petition trying to be got together and another site which deals with other aspects as well (http://uie.8m.com/ & 
http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?UIE) I definately think that most of these places should come under some umbrella group, whoever I dont mind.  As has 
been stated in later posts, at the end of the day the decision lies with the government and the odtr. Personally I'd reckon it would be a nice little shock to the government etc to 
suddenly see a petition of say 10K people (well considing SNL is supposided to have 20K users :) ) and for a fair chunk of those users to follow up with their local TD etc. 
Considering the original subject, could you imagine if Esat dropped SNL altogether, be it for whatever reason, then we are really fscked. We need action sooner rather than 
later. At the end of the day us (the users) want better affordable bandwidth, be it adsl idsl whatever, rather than be held to ransom. If we shout loud enough, we will be heard ( I 
hope :) )
