[ILUG] importing fonts

Can you import the fonts from your windows font folder to your Iinux
machine?  If so how do you do it?

I'm running RH6.2 and trying to use star office 5.2 as a replacement for
msoffice, but i really need the fonts which I have collected.

I'm a novice linux user so please assume that I have only been exposed to
the basics of linux.
