One thing I have been looking at is a procmail driven script to remove this
sort of crap. I have several friends who - through no fault of their own -
send me a one-line email with a 25 line signature.
It's somewhat irritating, it's getting to the point where I can't find the
actual text they intend me to read. I also have to go and remove it all if
I reply.
I thought of getting them to use the -- notation in their sig so mutt would
colour anything below it differently. But really I'd like to just have it
removed.
Anyone know a nice way to do this? I'm willing enough to place a string
corresponding to a friends signature in a file to be matched against.
Something similar built into the mailing list would be quite cool also.
