Greetings all,

When Eircom trailed the ADSL solution recently
(Not the older Alcatel trials)
Were the ADSL modems set to act as routers or bridges?
Also did they allow you to turn on NAT no the ADSL modems?

I know that the Ericsson ADSL modems can be set to Bridged mode or
router mode,
and they are also able to do NAT (a subject that I've recently been
re-educated about)

The question is, if I-stream solo is only supposed to allow a single PC
internet access,
is there any way that Eircom can detect that you have a NAT box
connected to the modem)

Also during the trial did you have access to the Web interface to
control the modem
(if it was the Ericsson modem that they used for the trial)
