not as far as i know.  as long as the box you hook up to the adsl modem
uses two interfaces, it shouldn't be detected.

i know that with cable modems some people hooked up the cable modem and
all of the pc's in the house to a single hub.  the pc that was authorised
to connect had two ip addresses assigned to it's ethernet interface -
the local one and the dhcp fetched one.  i think due to a misconfig on
some of the user's part the cable company was able to detect that setup.
