The Alcatel 1000 has no NAT or internal configuration what so ever. Just
a Ether net connection which gets assigned an Eircom ip address.

The Alcatel Touch Pro does however have a NAT configuration as well as a
DHCP Server and other things. The Ether net connection ip address would
be on a private network and is configurable.
The touch pro will act as a router, where as the 1000 will not.
Hope this helps
