that maybe the case, but microsoft had that problem at the start too ( still
do!)

that is sometimes how it feels to newbies. Not to talk about good voluntary
work
done by most of you!

but hard study essential before getting into Linux, whereas with windoz you
can do most things like plug and play; unless you count the glitches.
For a person trying to use the computer like a tool, alternative to have
brain- tools
to use for the computer [ having to reconfigure the computer consistantly],
it is rather
frightening. I, as an artist need to use my computer like I would use my
brush or chisel.
And in that respect I have my problems, which I presume do the other dozers
too.
