[ILUG] XFree problems

Hey,

First, I'm not even sure if it's an X problem, but anyway.

I installed RH7.2 yesterday. It comes with XFree 4.1.0. I also downloaded
and installed source packages for NVIDIA_kernel and NVIDIA_GLX to get the
proper drivers for my G-Force 2 MX. Everything seems fine but when I run
startx it stops at the grey screen with the black x for the mouse pointer
in the center of the screen. I've got gnome installed but it doesn't load
at all. There's no errors in the logs. Everything loads properly. The last
thing in the logs is stuff about loading the mouse.

Anyone got any ideas where I should be looking?
