When you say router - do you mean one of those webramp type things? A little 
beige box int he cornerAs far as I know they have a Web admin control site - 
go to the Ip address in your browser. As for the othr machines: does this 
router handle DHCP? If so, no further config is required for your other 
machines but if it doesnt, make sure all the machines have the gateway and 
dns server configured, a unique IP address, the same subnet etc.

The server has an ISDN TA installed but I haven't configured it yet, so the

I've obviously forgotten something here. It worked fine when I used a Novell

"little old ladies" (apologies to any little old ladies who are ILUG
members!)in the local retirement group breathing down my neck. They come in
once a week to use the pc's after school and they want to use the internet.
