If you win the lottery you'll buy an MPEG car to go with your Aston Martin -
it's a tiny PC in car audio format with a cute VF display, running Linux.
AFAIR it was launched about 2 years ago. I had my name on the list but when
the price crept up to ~ $1000 and the value of the $ shot up as well, I
wimped out.

It came from a company called empeg and a quick visit to www.empeg.com shows
that Rio bought them out, the product is being discontinued (as of Sep.) and
the 10GB  version has been reduced to UK£510 ex. VAT (as of Oct.) - this is
just less than $900 or just over 1000 Euro - a little rich for my taste,
still  :-(
