Empty room - one lone user working late at night.. 

Record your voice on your machine at home, telnet into office, 
ftp file up - and dump it into the /dev/audio on a machine somewhere
else in the office.

In your recording say something which is time relevant - comment on
some application they are running - or something like that...

Then next day casually mention the crap sleep that you had, 
muttering something about a weird out of body experience :-)
