Kate,
This problem can occur with certain versions of Autoconf (from my
reading :)) It tries to define macros which automake has already defined,
therefore expanding them twice. Downgrade to 2.50, presuming you're on 2.52

Subject: [ILUG] Autoconf question ?
I'm trying to build mozilla from the Ximian source RPM.
I get an error though;
+ autoconf
build/autoconf/altoptions.m4:140: error: m4_defn: undefined macro:
_m4_divert_diversion
build/autoconf/altoptions.m4:137: MOZ_READ_MOZCONFIG is expanded from...
build/autoconf/altoptions.m4:140: the top level
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.65385 (%build)
Does this look like an antiquated version of m4, or what?
Kate
