[ILUG] Mirroring IMAP Servers

Is there a way to mirror (efficiently) IMAP servers? What I want is to have
an IMAP server remotely with all my mail for access from anywhere. But I
also want to have a "copy" on my local network so that I can access the same
mail from any machine on my local network without connecting to the
internet. Copying the entire folder set each time is not an option .. is
there an easy way (or even a hard one?!!)
