[ILUG] Help with pop-before-smtp, qpopper 4.0.3 and Postfix

Hi

a new member of the list and a relatively new Linux user here.

I have installed a Mandrake 8.1 linux box.  Postfix is my smtp server.  I
downloaded and installed qpopper4.0.3 and Bennett Todds pop-before-smtp perl
program.

Everything is compiled and working(ish)  my only real difficulty lies in the
fact that the pop-before-smtp program is not correctly recognising the
entries in the qpopper log file.

If anyone has any experience of pop-before-smtp and could explain how the
configuration of the $pat strings within the pop-before-smtp program works,
I would appreciate a help-out.
