<Yes, it was, and I told the stupid woman so directly. I hope that as <many
of possible of you do so too so that she'll learn the error of <her ways.

[Kathryn Cassidy]
>So did I. In a rather nasty mail.

Maybe it's just me, but I seem to remember a second post from the person
involved admitting and apologising for her mistake.

I also note a certain level of, maybe hypocrisy here. A number of people
have commented that, in the light of a recent downturn in the IT market,
some people on here may be in need of work. Could it also be true that
because of a lack of jobs that recruitment companies are finding it harder
to get jobs for people on their books? In other words it's ok for a "linux"
person to look for a job, but if a job is offered to the list, then that's
all wrong?

Now, having said that, I'm not condoning what the lady did. But I don't see
any form of filter or other method of blocking this kind of post in place.

So, it's like someone who leaves all their doors and windows open in the
house and then complains when someone breaks in and steals all their stuff!

So, rather than calling her stupid and sending her "nasty" e-mails and
making smart ass comments on here about her, maybe a polite letter stating
that her post was inappropriate, would have been far better?

Anyway, just wanted to give my $0.02 worth as an impartial observer.

Mike
