[ILUG] Shortcut question in Ximian gnome

Howdy, 

I have set up a shortcut to launch a console window in Ximian gnome using the Sawfish window thermer, and most of 
the time it works fine. The annoying thing is that for some of the accounts I have on the box, the shortcut launches 
the console window alright, but in some other directory than that users home dir.

I have a gone through as many of the configuration files that I could find to see if the wrong path had been 
included or something, but no luck there.

Has anyone come across the same or similar problem, if so how can it be remedied?
I've tried removing the shortcut and setting up another one, but I still get the same result.
