Palestinians claim responsibility for attack

"A Palestinian group has claimed responsibility for the attack on the
World Trade Centre today. Abu Dhabi television reported that the
Palestinian Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine claimed
responsibility for the terrorist attack.  There are reports of a third
explosion at the Pentagon.
 
At least six people have been killed and 1,000 injured after two planes
crashed into the twin towers of New York's landmark World Trade Centre.
The second ploughed into the southern tower about ten minutes after the
first crashed into the north tower. The planes hit at about 9am local
time. It is thought that the planes were hijacked."
