jack.  And no, that's not an instruction to the penguin if he can't find a
seal!

It's a term based front end configurable for all operations.  I use it with
cdparanoia, bladeenc, freedb.org but it's all adjustable.  It uses xtermset
to fit an xterm to its requirements for the job in hand (again, nothing to
do with penguins) but won't do the same with a gnome-terminal.  If I'm on a
ripping binge, I can hav it rip a cd to the HD, pause while another session
rips the next cd, pause that and so on.  When I have the hd full, I unleash
all the jack sessions to do the encoding through the night.
