Very very true, and my favourite rot13 does not count as crytography no
matter how much the DMCA would like it too.
rot13 and caesar are in /usr/bin/games if you dist bothered to install
BSD games.
As for Stenography from what ive heard you want to take a look at Out
Geuss, it is supposed to be very hard to detect, it works out how large
a message you can hide without giving it away.

Of course JPG (and probaby Gif and png) have support for a comment
field, and you could just use that to hide a message. There are so very
few programs that allow you to set the comment and anyone who wanted to
see the message could simply open the image using a text (or hex) editor

im nit picking but to avoid confusion it is best to call it disk space
and refer only to RAM as memory.
