Hi all,
Well it works again...????
# cat /proc/scsi/scsi
-> sees the drive and the other devices as it always did even when it didn't!
So I ran
# cdrecord -scanbus
-> which reported the drive cool too.
So I ran
# mt status
lo and behold, it decided to co-operate. Tried me wee script and works. I am aghast. What the fsck? Ideas anyone?
