[ILUG] PPPOE erros in syslog

I have a lot of these in my syslog.
In fact everyday I have logrotate mail me /var/log/messages /var/log/syslog
and others.

Point being it "can't" be normal that once every three minutes (give or
take) I get a Bogus PPPoE error in syslog. Alas I will admit I have looked
on ye olde interweb and found no illucidation as to what this error might
be.

Don't get me wrong the DSL works fine, flawlessly in fact (so far), but, it
irks me that, these error messages are hanging around my syslogs.

Any ideas?
