I did use a stock kernel after i made a test one week ago and saw that i
got all of it working fine.

Yast2 can check lilo write and confirm that it's happy with it. Silly
enough to say that on my old config (lilo to /dev/sda7), it couldn't
validate my new kernel. I had to write my lilo to floppy in order to
make it work ...

Well i'm not sure how to understand this one but i'm not German mate ;)

I agree with you on wvdial, it just works and finds DNS fine. Might use
it from now on.
