hmm, well, I've always found MacOS to be much more consistent when using
keyboard shortcuts. What? A Mac user actually using the keyboard? Under
the Mac, you can be pretty sure that cmd-q quits, cmd-w closes a window,
cmd-f is for find, cmd-z is undo, x c and v are the cut copy paste trinity
etc. That was one of the major things that bugged me about DOS++ - the
inconsistency. Also, trying to fgure out which menu a particular function
was hiding in between different apps, and often different versions of
the same app.

As for alt-tab, the more recent iterations have had that built in as
cmd-tab - granted the doze people had it first - but little "Desk
Accessories" could always be gotten to get over that particular hurdle.

There's something about MacOS (well, at least pre X) that seems cleaner
and more professional - more elegant - a bit like the way a Mercedes
doesn't need to advertise the size of its engine on the back.
