Try these pages:

ftp://mustec.bgsu.edu/pub/linux/Linux_MIDI_and_Sound/Linux_Music_and_Sound_Applications/midi.html

http://www.bright.net/~dlphilp/linuxsound/

You should be able to find what you want there. If you try out
Brahms or Jazz++, you'll be able to load in the midi file and view
the resulting sheet music.

In fact Rosegarden has support for musitex output:

http://www.all-day-breakfast.com/rosegarden/features.html

If that doesn't work for you, you could have a look at:

http://www.gmd.de/Misc/Music/musictex/software/midi2tex/

The source is for MSDOS, but should be easily complied under linux.
You'll probably need the macros in the parent directories for use
with TeX.

Martin.
