I usually keep the latest version of mozilla around to keep an eye on it
and sometimes to see if a given site will work properly on any of the
browsers i have (opera, mozilla/galeon, netscape, konqueror). I don't find
0.97 to be a noticeable improvement.

I find that netscape 4 is faster and much uglier in rendering terms than
mozilla. And yes, Opera is proprietry. It's also, unfortunately, much
better than mozilla in certain areas...
And I don't really understand the whole galeon thing either. I don't find
it noticeably faster than mozilla in terms of loading or rendering. I'm
sure if I benchmarked it it would be faster, but it still falls into the
category of slow...
