[ILUG] Accessing a Microsoft Visual Source Safe project from linux

Hi,
Is there any way to access a Microsoft Visual Source Safe project from 
linux?
I've had a look at freshmeat and sourceforge and all I could find was a 
project to convert a VSS project to CVS which is not what I want to do.
