uh huh.
and the problem there is?
bearing in mind that in this world you envisage the MS clients need
servers too, free or not.
(we'll ignore the fact that if the servers can have hard disks /
storage - then obviously storage is still available.)

no.
then again i came to *nix via a lab of little purple and cream boxes
that were amazingly quiet (no hard disks) and booted from a server
located in a different building over 500m away.
