[ILUG] nslookup

Hi all

I have a strange thing happening on my server whenever
i say 

nslookup hostname

*** Can't find server name for address 10.91.18.1: No
response from server


server hostname.linux.com
Address 10.91.18.1

why is it saying cant find server. and later on
responding with the IP address.
