Yeah, well, _you_ try helping people who insist on running
Linux-Mandrake with 96 MB of RAM, who refuse to believe me when I tell
them Linux can be perfectly usable and elegant on the desktop without
being bloated.

Understanding the basics of how X11 works helps people a _lot_. 

But, come to think of it, I can't help noticing that all the CORBA stuff
breaks without notice the moment you start to use X11's inherent
network-capable nature to image multiple hosts' X clients to one's
display.
