[ILUG] solid state hard disks ?

 Nah. That uses flash, so you can't write to it a lot. When I was with
sun, they used to sell a 9GB scsi drive that was just battery backed RAM,
for around $55,000. That sort of thing. I'm kinda assuming they've come
down in price since.
