Interesting, didn't know that, and yes that what I'm currently doing. I just
got pissed off trying to figure out pop mail. I wouldn't mind but I HAD it
working and then broke it :(
Anyway, I'll look into that, thanks for the info.

I _hope_ you're not sharing mbox format files over nfs.... Very bad
idea. They don't have standardised locking and are inclined to get
corrupted. If you have to share over nfs, make sure you're using
something like maildir - it's designed to be nfs-safe. Mbox is most
certainly not.
