Er, I've used courier and mutt fine for four years now, no problems what
so ever. If I want to use mutt locally, I just point it at the (possibly
NFS mounted) Maildir directories, otherwise, I tell mutt to go look at
host/INBOX.personal and it's OK.
I will say that you do need to prefix all folders with a . when invoking
them locally - but that's a small price to pay for portable mail reading.
Do it once, it'll take a few moments.
