no. cyrus can use:
- Berkely DB (Cyrus 2.0 -> bdb 3, Cyrus 2.1 -> BDB 4 or 3)
- flat files
- 'skiplist' - which is a cyrus specific DB implementation
and there's also a patch to allow it to use MySQL.
Typically, a Cyrus install uses multiple DB types. (cyrus has about 4
different types of 'data stores', eg one to hold mail, one to hold the
list of 'seen messages', one to allow it to do duplicate detection.)
Which reminds me...
why is cyrus such a pain to get working... esp. with sendmail.

i access my mail via IMAP too, even though i also have /var/spool/mail
automounted. IMAP is just a better way of accessing remote mail.

There are no scheduled flights that fly direct to Madrid from Dublin
(least last time this matter concerned me). Iberia fly via Barcelona
from Dublin. Other options are to fly via London, Rome or Amsterdam.
