[ILUG] root password has changed - how do I reset it?

Reboot your pc. At the lilo prompt, type
	linux init=/bin/sh

When it boots up, type
	mount -oremount,rw /

and then change the password using 'passwd'. Remount / ro using
	mount -oremount,ro /

then reboot.
