Yes, that's fair enough, but they seem to spend more time abusing people
asking,
than it would to say look at this howto or whatever..
Also I was going to release a little Win32 systray app, that can control
SmoothWall (change connection profiles / dial etc) and I got very little
help on the developing side. I was suggesting that I would be good to build
all scripts so they could be called via XML-RPC or SOAP , so it would be
very easy to develop apps / systray apps / toolbar applets / web interfaces
to control SmoothWall.
I just think they got the mix wrong, especially seeing as it's based on a
GPL'ed product. I think the Snort guys have it right.
